Advance Your Training
 The consolidation of your training is best done by diving and doing at least a few dozen dives early on across a range of sites which are similar to those your training was undertaken in. It is wise to have an orientation dive (called formally a Discover Local Diving dive) or several so you will be with a dive professional to help and guide you through what may be slightly different equipment or environment-wise. This will help give you the feel for the environment and how to see it's wonders too...
I’ve seen loads of things on dives on holiday, and then I've come out from a lead dive to hear the guide and several of the other divers say wasn’t much on that dive – eh? I wonder if they had their eyes shut !! Seriously, take your time, slow observations and meaningful searching without diving into holes, caverns or cracks. Keep with the group – but look and really take in the breath-taking environment you're in.
You need to add the Advanced Open Water qualification to your Open Water Diver qualification preferably at some point early on in your diving career. This gives you good navigational and deep water skills that are extremely important for your enjoyment and safety underwater. Not only this but once you've gained your Advanced Open Water qualification you can then move on to some very useful and interesting specialities.
We have put together four carefully selected packages to give you training building on from the Learn to Dive Premium Packages or from anyone with an Open Water Diver qualification.
The BRONZE ADVANCE YOUR TRAINING is a careful combination of a full Advanced Open Water course (5 adventure dives) and the addition of the Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Qualification with a 6th adventure dive – one of the Advanced Open Water Dives will also be an Enriched Air dive !
The SILVER ADVANCE YOUR TRAINING is the addition of the Multi-Level Speciality a great little course introducing you to the Wheel and the basics of dive computers and dive planning with them. This is an extra two dives in addition to all that is found in the Bronze package.
The GOLD ADVANCE YOUR TRAINING is the way to go with the addition of the full Underwater Navigation course, an extra three dives and a great time doing some dry training with compasses and some fun on the surface, then we are off to do some great underwater navigation skills – very worthwhile indeed – this is all in addition to all in the Bronze and Silver packages.
The PLATINUM ADVANCE YOUR TRAINING is the ultimate training with everything from the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages and then the addition of the Equipment speciality – to teach you all you need to know to look after your kit, general maintenance and those little tweaks and repairs that you can do to complement the annual servicing of your kit and keep those costs down.
