Role Model Training
 So you've got the taste for diving and exploring our wonderful sea's ! If you have only dived in lakes and quaries to this point then you are missing so much wonder and beauty of the sea, you need to get to the coast and experience so much more. Ideally you will have around two to three dozen dives under your belt or more interestingly put 12 to 18 hours worth of diving!! You are now starting to get very aware of your surroundings and we would recommend that you consolidate this training and add to your skills pool with some really good Role Model training which will build your self awareness, self-rescue and the rescue skills of others.
Simply put that just sounds like a rescue course. I'm sure many schools sell it that way - but that's missing so much of what these skills are all about. The ethos of the whole curriculum is to understand what causes problems, how to see those issues before they become problems, how to deal with the problems if they do manifest before they become very serious, and sadly if they have already become very serious how to help that diver and save their life. This is essentially about self and team awareness. It is about being a Role Model, about diving with care and thought for yourself and others both in the water, on the water and eqally importantly before and after the dive when you are out of the water.
I have so often at the leadership level had to correct core values and skills that should have been taught well at this stage in your diving. It is with that extensive view we chose to call these premier packages the "Role Model Training" set. We believe it is so crcuial to develop these skills, awareness, attitude and ability both in and out the water that we have selected a series of packages to help grow just that. So if you do Go-Pro and join the fantastic set of Leadership Level programmes, that you are very well able learn new skills of condut and control, teaching and coaching, nuturing and enthusing... not learning the skills that should have been there prior to taking the step into Leadership Level training.
For those not wanting to become a Dive Leader/Dive Master or Instructor these Role Model Programmes are an ideal goal to reach in your diving and then build outwards through consolidation through diving and adding then specialities as needed for your chosen path and passion. We have put together four carefully selected packages to give you training building on from the Advance Your Training Pacakges or from anyone with an Advanced Open Water qualification.
The BRONZE ROLE MODEL TRAINING is a leading set of products from Emergency First Response Ltd giving you Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid), O2 and Automatic External Defribrillator (AED) along with the RESCUE DIVER course. A four day programme of shear hard work and it will be fun. Two days of theory, and then two days of pool and open water diving.
The ROLE MODEL TRAINING SILVER is just what you need to really understand your Equipment on top of the Skills and qualifications of all the Bronze training included in this package it is an extra day of theory/practicals. We also include a great set of training in the use of the UK Hydrographic Offices' Tide Tables and Tidal Stream Charts. Hence a five day programme.
The ROLE MODEL TRAINING GOLD is everything in the Silver package plus the addition of another theory slot this time with the addition of Chart Reading and Chart Navigation, and the Search & Recovery Programe making you a truly skilled and highly competent diver that can understand the location and environmental factors of a dive site and safety. Hence a seven day programme.
The ROLE MODEL TRAINING PLATINUM is the Ultimate training with all in the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages and then the addition of the DAN Diver First Responder (DFR) First Aid programme - this prestigious qualification gives you all the skills and training in O2 First Aid Provider, Adv O2 First Aid Provider, Hazadeous Marine Life Injuries First Aid Provider and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Provider. Making this a truly fantastic programme. This can be either a more intense eight day or more realistically a nine day programme.
