Recreational Training
 So lets have Sun, Sand, and Scuba! Maybe not what normally rolls of the tongue but this version should! Diving is a real fun experience and the enjoyment and diversity that you will have across the world. You will meet so many nice people all sharing the same passion for diving. It is infectious. What ever your desire is at the start I can guarantee two things, once bitten with the bug, one - you won't be able to get enough of it! and two - you will so want to learn more and do more things.
I love the recreational aspects of this sport, whilst some might say i'm mad (Urm maybe), to do all the technical diving, I am proud to also say I really do love the recreational element. Their is nothing more enjoyable than seeing someone so euphoric at really enjoying the sea life and all its beauty. Don't believe Holywood et al, most thins in the water are more scared of you with this big shiny thing on your back... Treat all animals and life within the sea with the respect it deserves and it too will respect your life.
We are often asked so how young can you start to dive. Urm a tricky question and one with an equally tricky answer. Now PADI have a great little programme for kids that allows for 8 year olds to try out scuba in a very shallow pool and enjoy really fun way with the Bubble Maker and Seal Team Programmes (Seal Team has 15 little Aqua Missions which are really nice little experiences). This is a great little programme and the Enhanced CRB checks that absolutely all our Staff have is their to demonstrate our relentless commitment to ensure your children are safe from harm and nasty elements of society. The Minimum Age for the PADI Junior Open Water qualification in 10 years old. Here comes the challenge and it is a real issue, hand on heart has your child stopped growing,reached a level of self awreness, discipline and respionsibility that they can effectively look after themself and their kit. We will treat each application with care, as more often than not, 12 seems to be a better age in our oppinion to be able to take to the seas and enjoy this fantastic sport. Many Inland sites will not permit anyone to dive below the age of 12.
The other odd question I get asked is how old will I be able to dive to... A tough one really if your still fit and healthy and your doctor says yes - all the way to the end is what i vote for!!! And many really do achieve that to a great age - their are many 70 year olds still diving strong.

Their is very little we can't teach you across all the diver training programmes from PADI, we have a very impressive set of qualifications on staff to be able to grow and develop your training to exactly where you want to be. PADI without a doubt is the worlds leading professional training agency and has invested very heavilly to offer stuinning courses, training materials and a network of professional dive centres through the world. We a are proud to also say not a single member of staff has had or suffered any minor or serious Bend/DCS. We operate a very safe set of projects that still push and develope you - but not hurt nor harm you or us - that's the plan. We have an experience base that is verifiable, logged and stunning. At any level be 100% sure of your instructor - your life depends upon it - don't just look for the top of the industry either - look for someone actuially doing what you want, lots of it and not just teaching it... Look for small course numbers as well as full compliance with the HSE diving codes of practice that don't use you as both in water safety/support diver as well as being the student - that's so wrong on so many levels, think about it... We will very soon be part of the worlds largest Diving Community and Club with our steps to become a BSAC Technical Centre well underway. Along side this development we will be very proud to be able to offer all of the sport programes from BSAC through judicous application of our skills and thorough experience through the many local branches and clubs - we do not believe it is in the clubs best interests to offer BSAC Sport Training commercially on a generally available basis. Only if pressed will we exceptionally undertake such commercialised training to help and assist a Branch and Club - not at it's expense.
