We believe, as our First Aid Pages highlighted, in developing a good range of skills in first aid and then using them and keep fresh the knowledge and skills in order to provide (when needed) the very best possible care you can. First Aid training needn't be 'death by powerpoint', monotonic and well simply put boring. Progressive and systematic teaching systems enable you to read and watch the skills of first aid in such a way that when you come to the classroom phase of your training you are suitably prepared and stimulated to take on board the skills in a progressive and more enjoyable way.
Sounds a bit like marketting spin eh ?
 Not so - such systems that employ self study, then teaching/review of such self study followed by a building block style skills session and some structured final scenario assessment/exam is by far the most conducive with our learning styles and aids much higher retention of knowldege and skills overall. Which is why the professionals are trained this way...
