DAN Courses
 We have been very proud to offer Divers Alert Network (DAN) training for a fair few years now and can bring this charities training programmes to you with a great deal of experience. DAN offers an extensive and indeed pioneering levels of Research to understand diving diseases and malladies. DAN also offer membership which give access to regular reports on this research (through a quarterly magazine called ALERT DIVER), and offers benefits such as diving Insurance for Emergency Medical Care for a Diver world wide. DAN offer an extensive range of products and we are pleased as a DAN Gold Point to be able to offer these to Customers, Instructors, and other Schools at competitive rates. The training courses we can offer are all of DAN's Provider Level Courses and nine of its Instructor Level programmes (although our recommendation is really to primarilly offer DFR Instructor and the MO2R Instructor levels).
These training courses are fantastic and well structured comprehensive (specialised) First Aid programmes, that will truly give you a stunning set of skills to deal with virtually all diving and related sporting serious accidents and injuries.  The BLS Training is to provide Basic Life Support skills and develops from a novice the understanding and skills to deal with Sudden Cardiac Arrest. This course (or other CPR training) is a prerequisit to all the other provider level courses.
 The Aquatic Oxygen First Aid Training covers the life support First Aid training for those dealing with Free Diving, Snorkling or indeed Swimming related activities (So it is ideal for Life Guards and Swimming Coaches).
 The Oxygen First Aid Training covers the life support First AId training for those dealing with Scuba Diving, hence this is ideal for Rescue Divers, Dive Leaders/Dive Masters, Instructors and Surface Support Staff on your Project Plans. This Foundation Course is often called O2 Administration in other training agencies. DAN's Oxygen First Aid training is a stunning set of skills for effective use of Oxygen for Pateient Emergencies and Resuscitation.
 The Advanced Oxygen First Aid Training builds upon the Oxygen First Aid Training core skills and gives a stunning set of Advanced Life Support Resuscitation Skills - This really is a great level for Support Staff, Instructors and Dive Leaders/Dive Masters.
 The Hazadous Marine Life Injuries (HMLI) First Aid Training provides a thoroughly enjoyable insight into how to deal with the nasties of the shore, shallows and the deep ! A fantastic review of what can bite, sting and spike you underwater and the definitive First Aid on how to deal with such injuries - a must for everyone I feel.
 The Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training has got to be one of the best courses on the market. This training will not only teach you how to use effectively these life saving tools, but will also run through a comprehensive set of problems and issues these tools can have and make you very skillful at dealing with each and every one of them. Who should do this course - everyone on the planet - wouldn't you want to be saved? In all Seriousness; everyone who works at a major railway station, major airport, major shopping hall, in fact any major sized place that can draw a large collection of people - why because they will no doubt have AED's about the site in public places and with and for public access.
 The Diving Emergency Specialist is a recognition programme for any Diver who holds the Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Certification and then goes on to gain three of the following programmes; Advanced Oxygen Provider, HMLI Provider, AED Provider, Neuro Provider, or MO2R Provider.  The DEMP First Aid Training Programme is a great collection and aggregation of three of the above courses. It gives the First Aider the skills and abilities of an Oxygen, HMLI and AED First Aid Provider. This is ideal for Rescue Divers, Dive Leaders/Dive Masters and it is our recommendation for these divers to qualify and keep qualified in this important set of skills.
The DFR First Aid Training Programme is a serious collection and aggregation of four of the above courses. It gives the First Aider the skills and abilities of an Oxygen, Advanced Oxygen, HMLI and AED First Aid Provider. This is ideal for those serious about their responsibilities for other Divers and we would strongly recommend this course to those Rescue Divers, Dive Leaders/Dive Masters and Diving Instructors to qualify in and keep qualified.
 DAN understand that from time to time the pioneers and explorers in us, often draw us to sites that are remote or a little time consuming for rapid emergency care to come to our assistance. The MO2R First Aid Training Programe teaches people to use a very good semi closed rebreather first aid kit (up to 8 hour Scrubber and O2 Cylinder life), to enable first class primary care to be given whilst the Secondary Care is enroute. This is a course for those that need this level of care equipment.
Become a Professional DAN Instructor and we can offer the individual qualifications or better still the DFR Instructor. Additionally for those involved in expeditions and the like, we can also offer you the MO2R Instructor programme. Go on this will be a worthwhile and lifesaving step and one you will be proud you took.
