 ADM Diving & Technical Services Ltd is proud to be associated with PADI, BSAC, IANTD, EFR and DAN, offering an extensive range of training programmes to take you right to the top of where you want to be. It is also proud to have many friends and colleagues across the industry and indeed is very proud to use many leading suppliers products not only in its Hire, Teaching but in its own expedition work. What isn’t supplied is manufactured through its extensive pull on resources – it makes high quality lazy shot lines and diving trapezes for technical diving.
The director of training Andrew Dawson-Maddocks is also our managing director and has achieved a significant level of diving during the last decade. He has over 3000 dives logged across 4 continents and has amassed many stunning dives to 90m and beyond. We can see that his training has been multifarious and has enjoyed diving and training with and alongside many of the leading pioneers and explorers of our time.
With him we have put together a team that has these real goals – a passion for diving safely and to explore the depths for all to then enjoy. In teaching we embrace a truly professional style in what we do and pioneer systems, risk assessments and diving operations which several other leading instructors have embraced since inception. IANTD strongly believe training is purchased and certification is earnt. This is a fundamental for the team, and Andrew ensures that all that we do this is diligently followed; supporting every student to achieve their goals.
Andrew has extensive knowledge in physiology and decompression theory and has amply shown this level of knowledge is truly deep. With his background in managing, working, teaching and leadership of people, he has a good way of imparting this knowledge and gaining your understanding whilst doing his best not to lose you on the way. It is this wise and ‘accommodating’ style that makes Andrew and our team really stand out.
The First Aid training is thorough, fun and done with a great deal of real hands on experience, in the outdoors, extreme mountains, sea, workplace, military and diving locations. Several including co-ordinating such operations with Air Sea Rescue and Air Ambulance support. Like the company philosophy on diving, we strongly believe in the practice and real application of skills with respect to first aid and it is with great pride that our training is carried out by highly capable, competent and experienced instructors.
We have set up a stunning Gas facility in Leicestershire that houses our extensive Rix compressor suite offering a solid range of compressed gases from clean (sweet) diving grade air to the very advanced exploration gases of Trimix and Heliox.. All these gases will be supplied on an as needed basis to 300Bar. You bring 100Bar of gas in – you pay for what you are supplied. You’ll notice the doughnut labels and barcodes on every cylinder as we provide 100% traceable gas in our facility making it world pioneering.
