 Since 1989 Frontier has been dedicated to conservation and development research, implementing a large number of projects that aim to promote and advance practical field research that contributes to the conservation of natural resources and sustainable rural livelihoods. Our projects include biodiversity assessment and conservation, protected areas establishment and management, sustainable community development, capacity building, alternative income generation and sustainable resource use. Frontier has also been able to implement practical training initiatives in all of our activities to help create sustainable, long-term, positive impacts in the environments where we work. We therefore uphold a high standard of scientific research; this is achieved through close collaborations with in-country partners and wide consultation with a variety of experts throughout the world.
