So how do you gain experience? Do you and a buddy go off and just dive… Dive on holiday with a buddy you have never met before… Do you find a forum and say can anyone help? Do you grab magazines in the hope that these can give you enlightenment? Well yes and sort of – with help.

I have recently taken up caving again and this is really hard work to regain the experience – it is such a fantastic experience to push hard and often very tightly through to see some awesome chambers and then to return, so far once avoiding a torrent of a flood! But this is exactly the same challenge I had when I started diving for fun/professionally. It was hard to find the best way to meet people, gain the experience and have loads of fun without any of the politics. Tricky sometimes!

Well I strongly believe in the community of diving and as such a community is made up of clubs, individuals, pioneers and lots of facilities/shops and diving operators. The work Dive, sportDiver and Diver magazines do to educate, inform and provide a conduit for you to find your route to what you want to do and from where is extremely good. Likewise the sterling work from BSAC, PADI, DAN and IANTD and the many other training agencies.

We at ADM Diving & Technical Services Ltd believe in offering impartial advice and support. If you want to do the diving with another facility and the pool work and academics with us, then we will gladly support that and we will very professionally ensure you have a first class handover with your other facility where ever they are in the world.

We offer very good deals on Hire equipment and this does not have to be used and returned same day, we also offer a select set of cylinders that are suitable for hire for cave diving. All cylinders are supplied full of clean diving grade breathing air unless otherwise agreed. We hire out First Aid and Oxygen kits so you can make your trip safer and be a more responsible group.

We have decided to run a friendly club of like minded divers that enjoy Diving and the social side of Diving but without all the hubbub of Politics and a rulling body. The club will be independant and without affiliation. You wont be grouped as a PADI diver, BSAC diver or indeed the many others - for heaven sake your a diver. We will help anyone grow their skills in and with the enjoyment of peers. What we will be cognisant of though is what qualification you have to date and hence sensible range limits on depths. We will run trips on the basis of depth groupings 0-20m, 21m to 45m, 46m to 65m and 65m to 100m. Expeditions over 100m will be available to club members on s strict skill and experience assessment basis only.

So what next - we need to sort out some social activities, club talks, and dive trips. Membership of the club is on the basis of being a diver, any agency - all welcome - all club trips are open to all of the BSAC clubs mentioned on this websites page.  Membership will be on the basis of £TBA p.a. and you will get a membership card, and with such 20% off all Air and Gas from our Trade Counter. We will name the Club "Wreck Monkeys" unless someone can come up with a better name. I'll work out with Barbara how wre will run this, draft constitution and sort out a separate bank account for this etc. I'm keen the club helps the local BSAC clubs too as many are struggling with pool fees etc but we will all have to agree on this at the minor boring (but essential) stuff on running a club. Remember we don't want all the hubbub of politics so this admin etc will be kept very slim and likewise so will a ruling body be !

We have a Range of Trips that are run monthly, each of which have a maximum of 8 spaces, as the boat is also taking three of my team to make your dives as safe as they can be. We will pre-screen all divers in order to make the whole trip a safe one.

If you ever need help with flights and accommodation abroad (or indeed bespoke travel and great packages), I have always found the Personal travel Advisors very hard to beat. One such stunning advisor from this network is Carol Smith and if she can't sort your need I'm sure she will put you in touch with a colleague who can.
