ADM Diving & Technical Services Ltd apologises to all of our loyal customers for this disruption and you have our reassurances that we will be back with a vengence when it is sensible to do so.

We closed our Trade counter in earnest in June 2009 (having had a month of part-time).

We also stopped trading at that point whilst we work out given the massive damage to the economy what is the best plan for this business.

Clearly we do not want to wind up the company - in fact we have every intention on relaunching the business when the right economic conditions apply. But to operate a business at a loss would not be in any customers interest at all.

Despite formal invitation for tenders, formal tender responses - highlighting fixed costs and fixed timescales - the subsequent equipment/system was late by over nine months on contract. The equiping of the trade counter saw the system costs come in way over the formal tender response too. The business did show after the initial drawn out equipping of the trade counter a healthy growth, however the economic down turn stopped this in its tracks.

Our moves of the other businesses were key to them and we have not used our diving business as a sacrificial horse to enable the others to move on. If anything we have invested very very heavily in diving (more than the average cost of a home) and we have not got anything like this in return.

That said where does this leave ADM Diving & Technical Services Ltd?

I have had a lot of emails, texts and calls... WE WILL REOPEN WHEN (COMMERCIALLY) IT IS SENSIBLE TO INVEST A LOT OF MONEY TO REFURBISH AND CREATE A NEW SHOP/TRADE COUNTER....

So when we believe the right ballance of ingredients are there again, we will be back. ADM Diving & Technical Services Ltd is not closing down, nor going bust - I know what rumor mungering can get like in this industry !!!
